Meet Kim

hey there!

I am a native Texas gal who grew up in the San Antonio area and lived in just about every small town outside of the city. I come from a large family and love it! I have just two girls and almost feel as if I'm cheating them by not giving them more siblings but I know my limits! I've known my husband since I was in fourth grade; he was the mean older brother of a friend. We started dating right after I graduated from high school and have been married 21 years. I get excited when I see the first bluebonnets of the season; I cry every time I sing the national anthem; and I cherish the simple moments in life.

As my girls have gotten older I’ve realized just how quickly the years pass and as a result how important it is to record those moments through photography. The more time that passes, the more precious those old photos become. I’d tell the younger me to take more photos, print more, and display more. . . .with emphasis on the print and display part! It really is what we all struggle with, even as a photographer. But the joy it brings to the family, and especially the kids, to see their face proudly displayed in your home is priceless.
